He started his career at Leica and optimized optics production there using lean production. He then implemented lean and digital projects at Bosch, Hilti and Arbonia. Since 2016 he has been a professor of production management at the OST University of Applied Sciences and supports industrial companies on their way to becoming lean champions and Industry 4.0 winners.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspark-ost.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Lukas-Budde-Quadrat-600x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"201\" height=\"201\"><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/es.unisg.ch\/de\/person\/dr-lukas-budde\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr. Lukas Budde<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lukas Budde is a scientist and entrepreneur, post-doc at the Institute for Technology Management at the University of St. Gallen and co-founder of Smart Factory Navigator AG. His research focus is on patterns for smart manufacturing and digital platform ecosystems in manufacturing companies. Lukas has supported companies in many digital transformation projects. He is a lecturer for operations management courses and in customer-specific programs at the Executive School of the University of St.Gallen.
