Demenz geht uns alle an<\/h2>\n

Demenz \u2013 die Diagnose ist f\u00fcr Betroffene wie Angeh\u00f6rige nicht selten ein Schock. Die schleichend verlaufende Krankheit des Gehirns hat viele Gesichter und tritt \u00fcberwiegend bei \u00e4lteren Menschen auf (> 60 Jahre). Nach und nach sterben immer mehr Gehirnzellen ab, das Gehirn schrumpft.<\/p>\n

In der Eventserie beleuchten wir die Thematik aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven, suchen M\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr einen positiven Umgang und sprechen mit Betroffenen.<\/p>\n

Impulsvortrag und Talkrunde<\/h2>\n

Der Eintritt in ein Pflegeheim ist sowohl f\u00fcr Menschen mit Demenz als auch die Angeh\u00f6rigen oft ein schwieriger Schritt. In dieser anspruchsvollen Situation sind alle gefordert, die Betroffenen, die Angeh\u00f6rigen und die Pflegenden, den Eintritt und Aufenthalt f\u00fcr die Person mit Demenz bestm\u00f6glich zu gestalten. Die Verantwortlichen der Heime sind aufgefordert, sich mit der Frage nach dem \u00abbesten\u00bb Pflege- und Betreuungskonzept, das den Bed\u00fcrfnissen einer Person mit Demenz gerecht wird, zu befassen. An diesem Abend diskutieren wir mit Expertinnen, Experten und dem Publikum die Anliegen, Fragen, W\u00fcnsche und Herausforderungen rund um die Pflege und Betreuung von Menschen mit Demenz im Heim.<\/p>\n
